How does the BioRePeel work?

One of the reasons why the BioRePeel is gaining popularity is because it doesn't cause any trauma to the top layer of skin, meaning there's no peeling and irritation. This is because the peel utilizes biphasic technology, consisting of a lipophilic and hydrophilic phase. The biphasic technology allows the peel to bypass the epidermis (or outermost layer of skin) and targets the lower, damaged layers of skin. This encourages exfoliation without peeling thanks to moisturizing amino acids and vitamins that leave the skin look hydrated and renewed.

What are the key ingredients in the BioRePeel?

The active ingredients in the BioRePeel include: Trichloroacetic Acid  (TCA), Poly hydroxy acids, Beta hydroxy acids, Alpha hydroxy acids, Aminoacids, Vitamin C & Vitamin B2-, GABA

How many BioRePeel treatments do you typically recommend?

Though the number of recommended treatments will vary among patients, we typically suggest three treatments, spaced 10-14 days apart. Each individual session lasts around 30 minutes.

One of the benefits of the BioRePeel is that it can be performed all year round, regardless of the season, unlike traditional peels. It can also be combined with other modalities to improve results.

How should I care for my skin before a BioRePeel session?

Similar to other peels, we advise patients to avoid exfoliating agents at least 48 hours before their treatment. Patients should avoid AHAs, BHAs, retinols for at least a week prior to treatment, and waxing or tanning at least two weeks beforehand.

How should I care for my skin after a BioRePeel session?

Although the BioRePeel doesn't have any downtime, you'll still want to take steps to ensure proper healing. This includes avoiding makeup for at least 48 hours after an appointment, and steering clear of AHAs, BHAs and retinols for two weeks. We also encourage patients to avoid waxing, tanning, and steam saunas for two weeks after their appointment.

It's critical that patients keep their skin moisturized and protected from the sun, so make sure you have broad-spectrum sunscreen on-hand. Our team will work with you to establish a skincare regimen that'll aid with healing and maximize your results.
